The WF2144 is a USB Programmable Resistor Module, unleashing the power of our popular WF3144, using USB.

The WF 2144 is a USB 2.0 compatible 4-channel, 16 bit, programmable resistor module.
Each channel is galvanically isolated, making it ideal for sensor simulation.
The 16 bit resolution is non-linear with finer steps at lower resistance values.
It could, for example, be used to emulate a PT100 sensor with a range of 40–180Ω/-150–+200°C with a resolution of 0.1°C.
An open API using the Modbus standard with Python and LabVIEW drivers makes it compatible with most computer architectures and operating systems.

]]> Linus started at WireFlow a little over 6 months ago, today he finished his first product; a ±800V insulated battery detector that is used in a customer project.

This product was conceived due to the sourcing situation inte the world and long lead-time for similar products.

Linus did the design, PCB-design/CAD, prototype-build followed by a small redesign, and today he has the first finished product in his hand.

Today we believe he feels like he truly is an engineer.

WireFlow wins grant from FFI to develop a Battery Cell Tester

In conjunction with Toyota Material Handling we applied for, and won a FFI grant to develop a modern battery cell tester.

Strategic vehicle research and innovation (FFI) is a partnership programme run jointly by the Swedish state and Swedish automotive industry. The programme finances research, innovation and development related to the environment and safety. The initiative involves research and development funding totalling around SEK 1 billion annually, half of which is public funds.

The WireFlow Battery Cell Tester will be built on NI platforms and our previous work within the expansive battery field. The WireFlow Battery Cell Tester will be built on an open framework, highly configurable, scalable and modular and feature options for running tests in a climate chamber.

The future product will handle tomorrow’s demands on advanced battery cell tests, long term or short term – in any scale. It will feature temp sensors, posibillity to integrate thermal cameras for full temperature analysis and much, much more.
