Stena Recycling has recently opened its first industrial recycling facility for lithium-ion batteries in Sweden, which is one of the first industry scale battery recycling facilities in Europe with the capability of testing, recycle and analyzing batteries for reuse. They are currently also operating certified Battery Centers for recycling in Denmark, Finland, Germany and Poland – with new facilities planned in Italy and Norway.

WireFlow is delivering the equipment that completely discharges EV-batteries for recycling and which also are prepared for diagnosing the health of the EV-batteries determining which 2nd life application they are suitable for.
